I have only tested recording the screen with it and did not actually upload anything. You can ONLY record the screen BTW...so you can't do 'you on camera' type vids but that also means you don't need a webcam...just a mic. It creates .avi files which aren't the best quality but they are acceptable to YouTube. Just remember for YouTube a video must be no longer than 10 minutes and 1 GB file size. Yep, give it a whirl.
