haha dude that is funny! seriously… what were they thinking?! unless she’s got a really dark tan in the before pic? maybe she had just spend 2 weeks in the bahamas? you know? those fast fading tans?
on another note… what is up with all these “I love 12 lbs in 2 weeks” ads… i’m seeing them everywhere. hmmmm
LOL…it’s called telling people what they want to hear.
But you know, that’s a good point to bring up, because those advertisers are directly aligning themselves with similar weight loss goals many people actually type into search engines (like brides 2 weeks away from their wedding). It’s a good lesson to take note of…BUT, there’s definitely ethical considerations. Unfortunately like with weight loss, claims are typically overblown and unsustainable.
Hey! I dunno… I used to drink gallons and I was thin & pasty looking… since I’ve stopped I now look exactly like George Forman (complete with Grill thingy!!). LOL!
Always gotta love those before and after pics.
Uhhhh….perhaps *I* drink too much, but is that “after” picture really considered “Fab”????
I also want to mention from a female perspective… look at those two pictures…
In the first one, she is alone…
In the second, someone is holding her hand.
Ah, those subtle messages!
Is it really the loss of 12 pounds that they want? Or……..
Jennifer

Excellent point Jennifer…your female perspective is gold as always!
Just like they said in my old sales training, what’s the “need behind the need” of your customer? Sure they say they want a 15% return on their investments…but why?
(although my guess is this advertiser wasn’t quite thinking that deep from the looks of it…LOL)
“The need behind the need”….. perfect.

Just like a woman to come in and rearrange the place, huh? haha!
LMAO, That is toooo funny!
The advertiser is obviously using a different person. If he wants to achieve a better marketing result, should have at least find a tan person for the after photos.
These type of advertisements for before and after promoting some health care products are usually not real but if you are are the marketers, at least make it more convincing to the audience involved.
