This month’s exclusive Niche Report is now available from the ANC Member’s Area so members should head on over and check it out now.
Now, you will know I have two particular obsessions, right? Dr. Who and ladies (not in that order)… well this month’s report is all about going back…(AND I get an excuse to put up a risqué pic – there is really no excuse for it but that’s just the way I’m wired up, OK?)
But this particular niche is very much ‘back to the PRESENT’!
This particular niche is not only huge and stable but it’s RED HOT right now. You WILL know someone who’s desperate for information on this right now!
And for added spice this month, this particular niche is tailor made for CPA (Cost per Action) Marketing. You get paid just for someone filling in a simple form on a website.
Yep, they don’t even have to buy anything… just fill a form in. Sweet!
I read a headline in the paper this morning about how a child born today would be 23 (That’s TWENTY THREE) before the current UK debt will be paid off!!
And that’s being highly optimistic IMO.
Got me thinking… a dangerous thing I know. So, I thought I’d put up a series of Tweets today about what it meant if you were 20 in 1940, 1950, 1960 etc.
But, as you know I’m a lazy sod and I’ve got other stuff to do (like go to the pub). So, I’ve set them all up to run using a neat Twitter app called TweetLater. (This is the same one you can use to set up your autoresponse for new followers.)
You just pre-load your Tweets and set them to fire off when you want. Cool!
So, I set them all up in about 20 minutes this morning… and they’ll tweet away in my absence.
This blog post will fire in to Twitter automatically as well (using TwitterFeed). And all of them will then feed into my Facebook account.
Talk to people when you’re not there! Spooky
Of course if anybody answers… I’ll not be around… but then nobody dares answer me back anyway! LOL!
Oh and to those who have just been born… don’t look back in anger will ya! We had a blast while it lasted!
I have today completely re-done the ‘Legally Steal Content‘ Bonus and video as the ‘RSS to Javascript’ sites we had been using were proving unreliable.
The new report and video uses Google’s Ajax Feed API which we are now using on the Member site and on the ANC Blog.
So I was goofing around on the web last night and see there’s a new show on Discovery appropriately called “Pitchmen“.
I’m thinking “Doh! Now I’ve seen it all…a reality show about unusually loud infomercial guys!”.
Needless to say it suckered me in as usual and I had to watch the preview clips. Mainly because my wife and I always joke about how deaf he thinks we all are. But hey, whatever. It works and gets your attention, right?
I tell you one thing, I had no clue what a massive industry all that $19.95 crap is! Get this…one figure in an article I saw said it’s upwards of $350 billion, with a capital B!
Here’s one of the preview clips if you want to check it out yourself:
You can hop on over to the Discovery Pitchmen site if you want to read about it and watch other videos.
But WAIT…there’s more.
As I was on the site, I see this little section titled “Tips For Making Millions”.
Well, one paragraph in particular jumped out that I wanted to share as a niche selection tip. Here’s the quote:
“Prevention DOES NOT Sell!
Maybe it’s because you can’t really “see” the results, but products that just offer prevention almost always fail in Direct Response TV commercials. For one thing, it’s almost impossible to come up with effective demonstrations, so it’s a daunting challenge to impart “perceived high value.” For example, someone had a product to test your air quality, but once you got the results back, there was no follow-up on what to do. Another client of Sullivan Productions came up with a product to prevent bathroom odors that required combining two packets of powder in the toilet before going “No. 2.” Although it went against the producers’ better judgment, they liked the client so they went ahead and made the commercial. It failed miserably.”
Very true, eh?
With many things in life, we really don’t tend to have a lot of motivation to take action until there’s an actual problem right at our front door.
Now, that’s not to say prevention doesn’t sell at all or you should avoid it. Just look at identity theft prevention services like Lifelock or life insurance. They’re huge industries. It’s just that prevention typically requires people being fearful and reminded of a potential threat…and it’s consequences.
The main point is though, in general you’ll generally have a MUCH easier time of things if you market in niches where people are at peak motivation…which is when they need to solve an immediate problem or fulfill an intense desire. That kind of goes back to what I’ve mentioned before about how everything we do is to either gain pleasure or avoid pain.
So there you have it…even if you hit mute on your TV every time Billy Mays comes on, that one little tip can make you a ton of lettuce!
And remember…
If you buy within the next 10 minutes, you’ll also get a super sized tub of Oxy-Clean, a ginormous bottle of Orange Glo, one of the deluxe attachment thingys, and a Flat Screen TV…all for only $19.95…CALL NOW!!!!!

Anyone who has been around me for a while will know I’m a huge Doctor Who fan. Always have been… and we really did watch it from behind the settee (couch) as kids.
When it came back onto our screens a few years back it became THE must see TV show for me and the boys.
There is one episode that sent Nick (youngest son) behind the settee for the whole episode. To this day he still won’t watch it. It’s called ‘The Empty Child‘.
Around about the same time Shaun (eldest son) introduced me to Rammstein. A hardcore German metal group.
There is a NEW one off episode of the Doctor on UK TV tonight at 6.45pm. If you can don’t miss it!
You will be able to watch it online from tomorrow.
Anyway, to celebrate this momentous event, I had a look on YouTube for something to send the boys.
I’ve also popped the feed in the Blog sidebar (down at the bottom). Although I may not leave that there… we’ll see.
For ANC Members… I’ll be updating the ‘Legally Steal Content‘ Bonus ASAP to show you exactly how to do it. So, look out for that… but hey it is Friday, right?… so cut me some slack!!
AND I’ve got another Reaper Lens to do… ‘Websites / Landing Pages‘… no rest for the wicked! LOL!
I started out just trying to get people back to my sites and lenses and stuff. But everyone and his dog are doing that!
It’s as dull as dishwater!
Don’t auto follow people… only those with a genuine shared interest. It don’t matter what it is.
Use an autoresponse for people who follow you… but DON’T try and sell ‘em ANYTHING! Nothing at all… no link back to your site, nothing. Just thank ‘em for the follow…
Never follow anyone who can’t even be bothered to put up an avatar at least… a real photo is much better.
And have fun!! This is the kind of thing I’m putting up now along with the breaking news stuff…
