As you may know Thad and I are finally getting into SEO in a big way.

We’ll always be hardcore adwords nuts but the mini-sites we set up for adwords tend to rank highly in the naturals as well.

Great! Free traffic!

Now, we’re not experts by any means on SEO but we are learning all the time.

We’ll be popping some tips on here along the way and may eventually come up with an ‘SEO basics’ type of guide.

I’ve mentioned it before but he’s just released an updated version.

BUT we know we could do better and we are working on a couple of projects ‘in the background’ to increase our expertise in this area.

Yep, we’re talking about SEO (Search Engine Optimisation). That often misunderstood and misinterpreted area of both Web Design and Internet Marketing in general.

There is literally tons and tons of information (both free and paid) out there on this topic and it is generally regarded as something of a mystery… even a Dark Art.

Well, as ever, there are plenty of people (‘Gurus’) out there who would like it to remain that way (so they can sell you their ‘magic tricks’).

But there is a chink of light out there… guy by the name of Dan Thies. You may have heard of him. He’s got a free guide on SEO ‘basics’ and it’s got a load of stuff in there that I certainly didn’t know.
